We stayed at minn kasai before we stayed here, and it was a tough act to follow, but we still loved this property as well. I booked a smaller room than I realized, then what we had at minn kasai we had a kitchenette and a little more space, but that was my bad. Either way it was still enough room for the three of us. The bathroom was really nice! I loved getting to soak after walking around all day. The staff were also amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Even though we checked out early they allowed us to hold our luggage in the storage room while we went to get coffee and came right back. Having a free laundry room also came in clutch! They provided soap and everything. It was in the middle of our trip so it was nice being able to wash all of our clothes and head to the next city. It’s in a great location, there’s a lawsons right across the street from the hotel, a 7/11 around the corner. The market down the street, Kanazawa castle was a 5-7 minute walk. Behind the castle is a street with a lot of great shops, found some beautiful gold leaf earrings and a hat to help with the sun. There’s a ton of great food spots and I’m sad I didn’t write the names down but we just stumbled into them 😅 there’s also a great coffee shop if you exit and go right, then another right at the corner light, straight down. At the end on the left there’s an amazing coffee shop with beautiful cups. I bought three. I can’t say enough great things about the Minn properties! We’re going back in the fall/winter and plan to use them as our home bases because we had such great experiences at both, especially for the prices.

The lobby and dining area had a very sleek and modern design. The hotel allows you to leave your luggage there before check-in, even allowing you to lock it as well. I stayed in the Standard Triple Room and it was incredible. It was extremely spacious, modern, and cozy. The design was phenomenal and the facilities were extremely clean and well kept. There was a separate space for the toilet and then the shower and sink. All throughout the room was sleek. It had a key code to unlock the door which made it really easily to enter and exit the room without worrying about forgetting your key. The location was great and very central to the area. I was able to quickly reach popular attractions as well as the train station. The staff were kind and helpful, and I would highly recommend Minn Kanazawa.

My wife and I stayed at 7 different hotels during our 2 week trip. In general they were good but always the rooms were very small. Minn was a breath of fresh air. The room was huge! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the lights were soothingly arranged, and the air conditioning was effective. I also used the laundry facilities and found them excellent. Staff were very much out of sight unless needed. At first I thought it was disconcerting but I think that the hotel is meant to give you a sense of being left alone to enjoy yourself. However, when needed hotel staff were incredibly friendly and respectful, helpful and I just really liked it.

The hotel and room were very modern, new and in great condition. Everything was sparkling clean and appreciated the keypad locks and the self-check-in. The kitchen was well equipped and suitable for a bit of self-catering from the very nearby Omicho markets. The location was also very convenient to the castle grounds, a large shopping precinct, many restaurants, Kanazawa station and the Samurai district - all within 15-20 minutes walk. There is a fantastic bakery called Hippo about two blocks away! The staff were helpful and greeted us with warmth everytime we passed through the lobby. Overall, a great stay!

The deluxe apartment was clean and set up perfectly for a family of 4! It was adjoining rooms with one unit having a kitchenette and both had full bathrooms. Good blackout curtains in the rooms allowed us the finally catch up from our jet lag and crazy schedule! The location was great as it was walking distance to the market, castle, park, garden and most of where we wanted to be. We did walk several times to kanazawa station as well but it was about 15 minutes even with our rolling luggage. The staff was very kind and it was nice to have a simple breakfast available in the morning with juice/tea/coffee.
